KISS jams with producer Vini Poncia in New York's S.I.R Studios in preparation for the Dynasty recordings. Witness the birth of song ideas while different takes are being recorded.
There's lots of talking and joking from Gene, Paul, Ace & Peter... very interesting stuff as you join them while developing songs step by step... The quality isn't perfect as it has some hiss but it's always worth hearing!
The Dirty Livin' session was held with Peter on drums and vocals, but the other sessions certainly took place with Anton Fig or Richie Fontana on drums:

During this period, KISS and Sean Delany were still deep into shaping the band's live spectacle as Gene singed his hair during the fire-breathing stunt after playing Firehouse. After the concert, KISS had installed themselves into the pages of New York's music press.
Interestingly, the lighted KISS logo appeared for the first time on this event as a gift from Bill Aucoin to the band. The songs:
Deuce, Cold Gin, Nothin' To Loose, Firehouse, Let Me Know, 100.000 Years, Black Diamond.
An audience recording for die-hards - a true milestone in KISStory.

Hearing the original recordings one can say, that most of the stuff on ALIVE II are overdubs layed down in the studio. Songs on this boot are way rougher and more kick-ass versions than on the "commercialised" official version.
Rumors say that recordings were done at Tokyo's Budo Kan Hall during the 1977 Tour.

Studio songs from side four are alternative versions or different mixes. Songs on 1 CD:

Witness the KISS hype and hysteria that hit Australia back in November 1980 with this vivid collection of audio material. The KISS Unmasked Tour was followed with uncomparable press coverage and massive fan reaction. The quality of the clips is very good... this is what you get on 1 CD:

The first tracks are acoustic only. Pauls falsetto vocals, synthesizers and drum programming were added on following tracks. It's interesting to wittness the development of the song just as you were sitting next to them... the last take blends over into a demo recording of Nowhere To Run. The sound is very crisp and enjoyable but please notice that these are rough recordings without any post production (18:40).
